I read in my local paper today that Elton John is going to be building a summer home not too far from where I live. I would love to know what was going through his head when he signed on the dotted line to the deed of the sale of the land. (if this does, in fact, turn out to be true). It’s not that it’s a horrible place to build a summer home but, honestly, I can think of a million other places I’d rather spend my summer. So, Sir Elton, what were you thinking?
It’s been a long day and I’m heading to bed but, before I do, let me leave you with card #17 of my 100 cards in 100 days challenge.
Enjoy the journey,
I have a couple of different types of window cards to share with you today. The first one has clear acetate to cover the gap on the front of the card. The sentiment is stamped on the inside.
The second one has a panel with the square opening popped up above the stamped image.

Tuesday Throwdown #103 – Window Cards
Whew, it’s been a little while since I have been able to get on my computer to update you on my challenge to make 100 cards in 100 days. It may seem like I’m off to a slow start but I have until September 18th to complete this challenge so I’m feeling pretty good about it. Below you will find card #10. Since we celebrated the first day of summer this past week I decided to make a card to celebrate.

This card was made for the birthday of the daughter of one of my co-workers. You probably can’t tell by the picture but it’s an easel card. An easel card is a card that when opened is propped up and held in place, in this case, by the bottom piece where the word “celebrate” is adhered to. I think it turned out really well for my first attempt.
This makes card #5 in my attempt to make 100 cards in 100 days.
Enjoy the journey,
I’m back again with another new card for the 100 cards in 100 days challenge. I’m having a blast creating these cards let me tell you. I decided to do a little something new so I added a row of flowers to the inside piece to complete the card.
I want to dedicate this one to all my followers who have given this newbie blogger a chance to share with you. Thanks for following me. I will do my best to keep you interested.
Enjoy the journey!
I finally had some time to pull a card together and came up with this one for a co-workers birthday. That’s 3 down & 97 to go lol.
So call me crazy but I've decided to take a crack at the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge. I'm not sure how I'll do but I'm going to at least try. It's not a card a day challenge but I do have to complete 100 cards within the 100 days. What was I thinking? lol
I’ll post them as I make them and I guess there’s no time like the present to get started so here is card #1:
