Let me explain what I mean by that. One Mother’s Day, my children asked their father why he didn’t get me a Mother’s Day card. He responded with “she’s not my mother” at which point they reminded him that I may not be his mother, but I AM the mother of his children. Let’s just say that he learned his lesson and every year since, I have received a lovely card from him *grin*.
I’ve always made my husband a card on Father’s Day and this year was no different. I made this card to thank him for being such a wonderful husband and a fabulous father to our children. The image was a free digi from Designed 2 Delight. Her webpage is no longer active so, unfortunately, I cannot provide a link. The sentiment was created by me.
I kept it pretty simple. My copics were used to color this card and I added some twine type ribbon to the bottom. I hope he enjoys this cards as much as I enjoyed making it for him.
